There are many negative effects of pornography. One negative effect of pornography is that it warps ideas about sex. It causes males to blend ideas of aggression in sex in everyday cognitive activity. This is due to the violence aspect in the aggressive pornography movies. Pornography treats women as objects and appreciate them for their physical features then the fact that they are human beings. The industry acts as if women are their own "pet". The women perform any act that the male wants performed on them. Women that join the industry see it as a way out of poverty for them. They see it as a way of becoming famous and in reality this is FALSE! Women are treated like "video games" in this industry. They turn you on when they want excitement and turn you off when they are finished with you. The player can do what ever they want to with the game.
Porn Demeans and objectifies women: Pornography is inherently self-centered, its something that a man does by himself, for himself by using another women as the means to pleasure, as yet another product to consume. The porn industry is slowly chipping away at womens self-esteem, stripping them of a sense of themselves as whole human beings.
